quality list and he beat out some top prospects on second team including one 4 star USC commitment. Cedric Lancaster made 2nd Team at CB

True. Hopefully Minor can step in and make an impact immediately. We've got a lot of holes to fill on the defensive side.

He is probably our best defensive recruit that has committed to us. I hope we can hang on to him.

Texas Tech has lost a lot of its mojo since Leach left. They used to get nationally televised games and lots of national media attention. Tech is now an after thought in the Big 12. There is a reason Tuberville left there for Cincy. If this kid wants to spend 4 years in Lubbock getting waxed by Baylor, OSU, Texas, etc. then go for it. BTW - Lubbock is a dump.
