Arlington Martin defensive tackle Tim Burleson (6'2", 295, 5.1) is a highly-touted DT prospect who had 80 tackles, four sacks, two fumble recoveries and one interception on his way to be named first team all-district in his junior season. He has narrowed his choices down to five schools: Colorado, Colorado State, SMU, UTEP and TCU.

That's the kind of size and quickness we need on the defensive line! And you'd have to assume he'll get a little bigger - and maybe quicker - when Diesel gets ahold of him.

Anyone seen him play?

I would take three of these every year. Kind of like getting socks at Christmas, they come in handy.

And they might smell like socks, but you just can't have too many, huh?

Big Mean smart guys with big butts. I think there are women as SMU that love that type of guy.

So in two years, how about a DT rotation of the younger current guys, plus Burleson, Brandon Bonds, Tommy Daniels (Paris), James McClinton (Garland Lakeview Centennial) and that Elris Anyaibe guy. Even BUS won't be able to say we don't have enough size on the defensive line then!
