Got to like the fact that the player that list says is the top player in Texas is listing SMU as one of his choices.

Those of you who follow recruiting more closely than I do can probably answer this: when is the last time anyone ranked a safety as the #1 player in the state?

Seems odd to me. I seem to remember a quarterback, running back or defensive lineman almost always being at the top of most lists.
