SuperPrep Ranks Vincent Chase#5 Nationally of all Tight ends and #16 in State:
"I'm an all-around classic TE. I can run well and block and catch. I'd like to have better flexibility and speed." Vincent committed to SMU (only camp, parental pref, "very solid") on 6/3 over LSU and OU. All offered plus UF, KSU, KU, SYRA, IA St, WIS, CSU, TCU, ARK, NEB and MO. " I wanted to get it out of the way. My brother Bobby plays WR for Blinn JC right now and we're both going into SMU in 2004. I really wanted to play with him." CB Johnathan Lindley from Sulphur Springs also committed to the Mustangs. [This message has been edited by Ponymon (edited 08-18-2003).]

Re: SuperPrep Ranks Vincent ChaseWhen was the last time SMU (or TCU or Baylor for that matter) legitimately beat out Nebraska and Oklahoma for a recruit? Obviously, this kid must be a heck of a player.
Re: SuperPrep Ranks Vincent ChaseI dont understand he is ranked # 5 national and # 16 state. can someone explain that

Re: SuperPrep Ranks Vincent Chase#5 TE nationally... #16 player in the state overall.
Re: SuperPrep Ranks Vincent ChaseDoes that make him the highest post-DP recruit at SMU?
Re: SuperPrep Ranks Vincent ChaseI think Cavan had a Line Backer from DISD Mosley I think that came to SMU. Proceeded to not go to class and Cavan benched him his Freshman year. He Transfered the next year.

Re: SuperPrep Ranks Vincent ChaseCan you say "Upward spiral?"
Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
Re: SuperPrep Ranks Vincent Chasewhat about the lindley boy from sulphur springs (cb)??
Re: SuperPrep Ranks Vincent ChaseLet's wait until after the year has started. We could get some even higher rated recruits by February 6.
I think Bennett is defintely worried about the d-line and the secondary. Everyone knows there's not enough depth there, and the safeties we have right now scare the crap out of me. I think Bennett must close his eyes and send out a quick prayer whenever an opponent's QB throws a ball down the middle of the field.
Re: SuperPrep Ranks Vincent ChaseI hear there's more coming from East Texas. There's a lot of great players in East Texas, and if the coaches can make that Mustang Country, they'll add alot of talent to the roster.
