#78 ranked in State by SuperPrep
WR, 6-2, 178, 4.6, Allen, Tx
"I'm a good playmaker and I jump good (VJ 35). I go up and get teh banll and I have good hands. I need to be stronger (BPs 220/SQs 360) so I can break tackles better and be more of a threat with the ball. I'd like to be quicker and faster too. 9 rec/150 yds/ 3 TDs. Nate favors SMU ("I like the location because it's close and it's an up-and-coming program.") solid over CU (offer), BAY, and ARIZ. All faves offered except SMU! - "They want to watch me this season." 3.2/1120.

Sounds like good size, but I wish he was a step faster.
Then again, Chris Cunningham was listed at 4.6 when he was being recruited, and I'd say he's turned out OK. And this guy's a good 6 inches taller.

Damn, Bennett must have one hell of a class shaping up behind the scenes if he is taking a wait and see approach to guy who already has offers from Colorado and Arizona. I like Bennett alot but I am starting to think I might be underestimating him and the potential of this program with Ford Stadium and a committment to win. I wish we would invest in basketball to the same level and fix up Moody. If I strike it rich, I'll bring us Moody Court at The Hoop Fan Coliseum.

BIGBOY05 kind of stole my thunder - I was wondering if, with a couple years of physical maturity, this guy might turn into an exceptional safety. He's got a good frame and apparently has really good hands, too. He could sit back like a center fielder and make plays all day. Suddenly, the secondary has more and more great athletes.

I like the sound of Hoop Fan Coliseum. OP hopes you get rich. Remember that OP was in your corner BEFORE you got rich just in case you get REALLY rich.

Cook committed to Baylor per the DMN. They mentioned he was initially favoring SMU but BU showed more interest. They failed to mention that he had offers from Colorado and Arizona.

Stallion or someone else,
Please explain why we would pass on someone who received offers from a PAC-10 state school in Arizona and the Big XII runner up in Colorado?
This kid has posted on our board and seemed genuinely interested in SMU.
Maybe Bennett feels this isn’t a need position? (j/k)

I would guess (and it's only a guess) that our coaches viewed him as a DB in college. And I think it's clear they thought he'd still be around when they got through evaluating him.

I don't know Nate personally, but go to all the Allen games. He's a great kid and can play at the next level.
As a receiver he gets the ball when it comes to him and love it when he goes after an extra point. From the outside he's quick enough to get to the ball.
