The SMU Lady Mustangs basketball team signed Joslyn Greenard, a 5-10 shooting guard from Mansfield Summit High School.

Anyone have any info on her?

How funny is it that TCU got a women's basketball recruit named Psyché Butler?

Jos averaged 11.5 points and 5 rebounds per game last year for a young but loaded Summit team that went 31-6 (3 losses to state champ Duncanville). Summit lost one player from that group (UNT signee Kelsie Edwards) and is again considered a top contender for the state title. With Edwards departure, Greenard should be the teams #1 option on offense.

Signing day isnt until November, contrary to the DMN story, she has given a verbal commitment, not signed yet.

Jos is a shooting guard who is tall enough to play forward, if asked. She is a good compliment to the 2 other commitments the ladies have, Brittany Barker (big forward/center) and Katie Cobb (point guard). The team has 2 more scholarships available.
