I just got an e-mail from a friend who quoted some recruiting service as saying Chase is the #3 tight end in the NATION. What a stud Mustang he's gonna be!

well I think its great he's getting a lot of attention but before we start comparing him to Kellen Winslow and/or Kellen Winslow Jr. I think even he'd admit that he needs to produce a little more in the passing game to be rated that high. I think he only had 12-13 receptions last year. Nevertheless the coaches of some of the Top 5 programs in America apparently think he can.

interesting that we have offered both Tulsa BT Washington receivers... how interested are they in SMU?

My understanding is that Ousley has some legitimate interest. I don't know if Chaney's interested at all.
