6-4, 250 4.9 has 7 offers including his favorites in no particular order Tech, Northwestern, Arizona and SMU according to the Insiders. Also offered by Baylor, Utah and Louisiana-Laffeyette. Clocked a "mind-blowing" 4.09 20 yard shuffle. Excellent, height, speed, agility and size-probably pretty high on our wish-list. Insiders has him listed as a 1 star but I expect him to be upgraded with those offers and that type of agility report. Rivals has him at 3 stars and 5.5 which is the cutoff between a 2 star and 3 star recruit.

According to Insiders, he is leaning to Tech because they told him that they "need" him not just want him. That makes a difference to him. Also, Tech is in the Big 12. He does have SMU among the top 4. Hope he makes sure to visit because SMU's campus puts everything else I have seen to shame. Compared to Lubbock its night and day. I still remember Dickerson's comment about Tech, "Its so desolate out there."

Obviously, we need him more than Tech does at this point. But I imagine being told you are going to start early in your career by a Big 12 school takes away part of the allure of SMU right now. One of our main selling points to studs right now is the chance to play right away.

There's another selling point for SMU that you forgot. It's not in Lubbock!

Rivals doesn't have us listed anymore. Says Tech and Northwestern are ahead of everyone else.
The attitude dictates that you don't care whether she comes, stays, lays, or prays. I mean whatever happens, your toes are still tappin'. Now when you got that, then you have the attitude.
