Pratt is one of the two stars who have risen the highest in the eyes of recruiters since the start of the season. Pratt is 5-10, 200 4.5 Coppell. So far this season he has 66 carries for 576 yards against tough competition like 4A State Champs Denton Ryan and Duncanville. He specifically commented that SMU had just started to call(contact period started at the start of Sept.) and also listed CSU, Houston, Missouri, La Tech, Tulsa-no reported offers. 5.3 rating and a 2 star. One reason that would explain why he has been overlooked is that last year he played with a slightly torn ligament and a small broken bone in his ankle. Still ran for 900 yards last year.

I saw him play every game last year and every game this year. I will have to miss the game Saturday in FW against Dunbar. He is good and is now getting a lot of interest from other schools. He has been discovered. He's about 6, 200 with good speed. He's not dazzling but he is a good back. The QB McKnight won't play QB in college unless it's for an option team but he is a good athlete.

Well we could use some tall fast WR's and DB's too...but big ugles are definitely a priority.

While I have not actually seen him play, my friends in Coppell talk about what a good "gritty" player he is. The only question is whether he has the speed to play at the D1 level and, in particular, in Bennett's scheme which relies so heavily on speed.

Could McKnight play in college at another position?

You're right, BUS, we need big strong linemen bad, and hopefully we'll get those. But as most coaches will tell you, you can really never have enough running backs. They get hurt all the time (KK a notable exception).
