Tall Dallas WR

Postby Pony Up » Wed Oct 01, 2003 9:20 am

Rivals says Dallas (Skyline) WR Dustin Sanford (6-3, 160, 4.75) has SMU on his list, along with UConn, Houston, North Texas, TCU and Tulsa. My question is this: I know we want taller WRs, but 160 is really light for a kid that tall, and 4.75 is tight end speed, not WR speed, right? Or could there be some variables here that I'm missing?

the variable you are missing is that not every player in the Rivals Database is a Division 1A prospect nor is the fact that a school might show some interest in a player mean that they are likely to offer a scholarship.
