Interesting article on Rivals about this. Says that Josh Ehambe, 2-star OLB at Prime Prep Academy and cousin of Emmanuael Mudiay, has an SMU offer and that he and Mudiay want to go to school together. http://rivals.yahoo.com/smu/football/re ... mbe-147619Ehambe has offers from SMU, La. Tech, Colorado State, and NMSU right now. Kansas and Michigan have also shown interest. Mudiay recently released his top ten: Arizona, Baylor, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, NC State, Okla. State, SMU, St. John's, and Texas. Assuming they're serious about playing together, this could bode extremely well for us. Kansas would seem to be a strong contender if they offer Ehambe, but would FB coaches at those other schools bend over backwards and offer Ehambe just to secure Mudiay for their bball program?

FB would do so easily at AZ, KU, UK, L'Ville, NC State and SJU. Baylor, Ok State and UT might be more selective, but I could see them doing it.

St. John's doesn't have football, I don't think.
You're probably right about AZ, KU, NC State, Baylor, though. Highly doubt Texas would if Ehambe is a 2-star prospect, they'll have a lot of spots to fill in this class. Stoops has been recruiting very well at UK, don't know if he'll have room for a favor for Calipari either.

Have you recently seen charlie weis' "pile of crap" recruiting pitch? I would be surprised if he didn't offer ehambe. Hell, he'd be lucky to get the kid to commit the way their program is right now

I think we offered Mudiay first but this might also be independent of one another unlike the kid in Philly who is a 2 sport athlete.

I would take a package deal of Mudiay and a paraplegic hobo with hepatitis if it meant getting Mudiay to Moody.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
