Lindley
Posted: Sun Oct 26, 2003 8:33 pmTalked with a friend of mine that coaches at Greenville yesterday. They played Sulphur Springs Friday night and he said that Lindley is a super talent. He returns their kicks and almost scored on the opening kickoff with a 50 yard return. My friend said that he was probably the fastest guy on the field which is very impressive considering Greenville is one of the fastest teams in the DFW area. Greenville stayed away from Lindley's guy most of the night. He said that coaches in that district consider Lindley and Denison's all-state junior RB Robertson (who will be the top RB in the state next year) to be the best athletes in the district. Knowing my friend, he doesnt throw around compliments unless they are deserved. So, I think we may have gotten a good one in Lindley.
