TCU Getting Richerthe two unnamed JC commitments to TCU mentioned the other day are both national top recruits. The first DLM Earl Anderson was a non-qualifier out of high school-originally committed to UT and was one of the Top 25 defensive linemen in America-he also was a Texas top 25 caliber player. He now is at Navarro JC and has convinced another heralded recruit to join him on the defensive line at TCU. The second recruit is Zarnell Fitch who committed originally last year at Navarro to Arkansas then switched to Tennessee-he was already second string on the Tennessee DL and reportedly would have started except the NCAA clearinghouse found that he was missing one credit to graduate from JC so he had to wait a year. This will certainly put a major crimp in any plans SMU has to even this series in the coming years. Advantage TCU.
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Re: TCU Getting RicherThis is yet another example of SMU'S competition beating us with JC recruits. TCU is doing everything possible to help their coaches bring in great football players. SMU makes it more difficult for their coaches. It is no suprise that we are the worst team in Division 1-A or close to it. TCU is good for a reason. SMU is not. It is no accident the directions each school is going.
