Right now we only have 11 seniors and it is killing us. JUCO's, whether it is a permanent policy or not, are needed now to fill in that class (and I am sure particular positions.)

JUCO's nowI am sure the coaches are well aware of this and do not want to get caught again but the sophmore class only has 15 and that includes Brad Bean, permanently out as I recall.

Re: JUCO's nowNCAA rules say that the JUCO has to have a certain amount of 'transferrable' hours (I think 48).
MOST Juco's take PE or the like, and those courses do NOT transfer into SMU, since they do not have those fields of study. Therefore, the NCAA rules are biased against schools who do not have these 'easier' curriculums... There are plenty of JUCOs with good grades, etc., but do not meet this requirement, and therefore, are NOT eligible, realistically, to be considered for SMU. IF he could, he would, but he can't, so he doesn't (with FEW exceptions).
