A quick check of the recruiting lists in the Nov. 2 DMN shows that the coaches have continued working the recruiting trail, as some new names have popped up for players considering SMU, and one name many thought was out of reach has re-emerged.

New players considering SMU:

RB Thomas Pratt (5-10, 200) - Coppell, Texas
Georgia, Arkansas, LaTech, SMU, Oklahoma

RB Darren Johnson (5-10, 170) - Garland (Lakeview Centennial), Texas
LaTech, North Texas, Texas, SMU, TCU

DL Jordan Jones (6-0, 253) - Sulphur Springs, Texas
Colorado, Colorado State, Iowa, La.-Lafayette, SMU, TCU

And with SMU now back on his list

WR Donald Massey (6-0, 165) - Hillsboro
Notre Dame, SMU, Oklahoma State, Mizzou

surely by now young Massey can see he would have an opportunity to see playing time right away at SMU. We need playmakers and more speed on the field NEXT YEAR!!!

I'm 99% sure the DMN is just too damn lazy to update previous publications of those lists. They are supposed to be based upon Rivals info but the last 2 stories on Rivals on Massey have ruled SMU out. We probably will have a shot until the bitter-end-brotherhood can run pretty deep but you might not want to get your hopes up too high.
