Talked to 2014 Arlington (Texas) PG Alex Robinson, who's on way to U of M now. Said he's focusing on Memphis, TAMU, Vandy, Minn, and Pitt.

that is a weird list. 5 different conferences? there is no reason to pick Memphis over SMU anymore.

Other than track record I suppose.
LB and co sure seem like the answer, but until we actually turn things around and make the tourney, it doesn't matter.

Memphis has more skins on the wall than we do as well as a solid basketball tradition. That and Josh Pastner is one of the best recruiters in the country. They also have sent many players to the NBA.

Not that it matters, but it is 4 conferences. Vandy and TAMU are in the same conference.

Is that 3 guys in the last couple of days who have started paring down their list and we didn't make the cut?

I am not worried about this yet. LB has so many offers out to so many good players that if they all committed and could join the team we would have a bigger roster than the football team. Now if we end up with no one, there would be concern but I think we are still positioned very well from what I read.
