This is a sick move. Brad Brownwell at Clemson has to be wondering what just happened to him.

"Snoop" Johnson would be a hell of a recruiter for SMU. . . Recruits better at Kimball than most college coaches.

Snoop, and the local AAU coaches. . . Snoop has been "recruiting" for years. Pretty much think he's banned from stepping foot on the high school campuses of Desoto & Cedar Hill.

This kid came here from South Carolina (very far from Desoto and Cedar Hill) on a visit, This has the #godfather written all over it. Snoop and the local AAU coaches had very little to do with this. I believe this was somewhat of a holding place gift from the #godfather.

Why would it matter to Brown where he goes to HS?

You could have the cart in front of the horse. MAybe they just brought him in, b/c they knew he was going to transfer to Kimball. Its very possible his family had a relocation in the works for months etc. I like our chances, but nothing suggests this is wrapped up. Hope it is, cause he's great

Keeping him close to SMU helps in recruiting him.

I agree that it is not a wrap but he has access to SMU whenever he wants now. This help in recruiting imo.

Think you are misunderstanding what I'm saying. . .Snoop had a kid from New York City on the Kimball roster. . . Most of Kimball's championship teams over the last couple of years came from Cedar Hill & Desoto. . . The out of state kids probably have family that reside in the Dallas area, and tell them about Snoop. . . My point is Snoop has been recruiting for years. If he had fielded teams from Kimball's attendance zone, they would not be fielding a competitive team.
