Question for Stalion

Now that football season is over, where do we stand with recruiting. It seams as though we will have about 18 or 19 ships to offer this year, and 3 are allready taken with transfers. We have 6 verbals so far so that would leave us with 9 or 10 ships left to offer.
What mix of positions does it look like we will try to fill?
What JUCO QB does it look like we will end up with?
Where do we stand with James McLinton, Donald Massey, and Randy Duncan. are they still interested in SMU? What is the competition, and have any of them scheduled visits?
What is the word on Sean Lobo, OL from Arlington? Is he interested in us, are we interested in him, and does he look to be a quality player?
Are we looking at and getting interest from any out of state players?
Finally are there any other players we are recruiting that do not show up in the numerous top whatever lists like Shelby Kaiser from Waco ect.

you know i could take an hour and go through a whole bunch of info but when you get right down to it everything is already posted on the recruiting forum. According to several recent Rivals reports we ain't in the Massey derby but who knows family ties could win out. There has not been a report on Randy Duncan in 6-7 months so I wonder if there is an eligibility issue. The only info reported on Rivals is he has a 2.8(as of April) but is that in the necessary core classes and does he have a qualifying SAT/ACT score? I'll send an e-mail to one of the services and request an update. McClinton said last week that he has a visit scheduled to SMU but we are fighting off a slew of BCS type teams for him. He has offers from Iowa, Kansas, Arizona, Baylor, and SMU. Lobo maybe a personal favorite of the DMN but he wasn't until recently getting a lot of major attention. He rates a 2 star and 5.2 on Rivals. He does have offers from Arizona and Louisiana Laffeyette but a recent reports lists renewed interest by SMU, Tech and Baylor. Other top players we have OFFERED and still appear to have a shot at are QB Scott Elliot-Bay City(5.5-3 star rating) committed to Tulane but apparently still considering SMU; QB Dane King from Blinn JC with offers from Bay, Kan. Hawaii, La Tech, Louisiana Laffeyette, and SMU-playing in the National JC Tittle game next week; OG Eddie Rollman, Burnet, 5.3-2 star rating with offers from Ark, Hou, Kansas and SMU; LB Bradley Bullit Garland Naaman Forrest offers from SMU and Baylor also considering Iowa St(visit), A&M and Tech; C Billy Harrison SA McArthur 5.4-2 star rating- offers from Missouri, NTSU and SMU; CB Matterial Richardson Marlin 5.4-2 star rating- offers from Ark, Iowa, Col, TCU, SMU-also considering OU.

Thanks for the update.
Any other JUCO OB's that we are in on besides King? I may be wrong but with McCown graduating La Tech should be able to offer him a chance to start, and Baylor needs QB help as well. Seems like there is a high likelyhood that we will loose out on King. I just hope we have a backup plan.
