Some new big guys - still available?

Postby Higher Authority » Wed Dec 03, 2003 1:56 am

Found a list of some really big guys who (to the best of my knowledge) haven't committed anywhere. Can anyone confirm or deny the availability of these guys? (And then get the list to the SMU coaches?)

Langham Creek DT Cedric Milton (6-4, 310)

Houston Worthing DT Chester Swanson (6-3, 260, 4.7) - awfully quick for a DT, no?

Corpus Christi (Miller) DT Joe Lister (6-6, 290, 5.1)

Canutillo DT Carlos Meza (6-4, 290)

Wichita Falls (Hirschi) DT/OL Larry Goatley (6-3, 350)

DT Tim Burleson - one of the Arlington schools

FW Brewer OT Rhye Gordon (6-4, 280, 5.0)

Waller DT Chris Simon (6-5, 310, 5.3)

Non-QBs:
Dayton QB Lloyd Ligons (6-4, 195, 4.6)

Roosevelt athlete Deshawn Knighten?

Houston Davis TE Juan Cantu (6-5, 290, 5.4)

Beeville (Jones) DT Brandon Mack (6-3, 280, 4.9)

Atlanta DT Pat Bowen (6-4, 300)

Wimberly DT/OT Keegan McIlvain (6-6, 270, 5.2)

Cuero DE/TE Dakota Williams (6-7, 250, 4.9) - bulk to OT?

Sealy C Rob Emschoff (6-1, 285)

Sonora OL Tom Valliant (6-7, 250, 5.0)

Thought you'd like that list, BUS.

Personally, I'm most intrigued by Milton, Lister, Goatley, Gordon, Simon, Cantu (a 290-pound TE?), Bowen, McIlvaine and Williams.

In other words, size does matter.

Wow - impressive size for those guys.
Anyone know how many of them (if any) are still available?

OK - who? You'd think some guys that size might be worth a risk, on the chance that a big body can be taught to be a player .... right, BUS?

The attitude dictates that you don't care whether she comes, stays, lays, or prays. I mean whatever happens, your toes are still tappin'. Now when you got that, then you have the attitude.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
