Oklahoma State

I read a story in the paper down here that LSU's competition for the best class in the country (assuming Saban doesn't head to the NFL, in which case, recruiting success will depend on his successor), could come from the usual suspects: USC, Oklahoma, Texas, the Florida Schools .... and Oklahoma State? Is that right? I know Les Miles has gotten some players up to Stillwater in recent years, but is he recruiting at a pace that positions OSU for potentially the top class in the country?

I figured this was just the ramblings of some silly bayou beat writer who'd hit the moonshine a little hard the night he wrote the story. Could he actually be right? Seems weird to me.

I'm not sure how closely you follow recruiting, but OSU has been collecting players -- top players -- for a few years now. They're a good team, and they're going to get a lot better, if they can hang on to Coach Miles.

Rivals has them at #17 based on average quality of commitments to date.
