It helps. Got this from Stlhockeyguy02.

Kliff Kingsbury hits recruiting trail after Red Raiders' win against TCU

Less than 18 hours after defeating No. 24 TCU, Texas Tech head coach
Kliff Kingsbury was pictured with Cedar Hill High School head coach Joey
McGuire presumably in McGuire's office.

McGuire tweeted out a picture of Kingsbury and himself Friday.

Or that they're even supposed to recruit there.

Not that they've ever really killed it on the recruiting trail, but some of the stuff I'm reading on the pay sites regarding contact (lack thereof) of recruits leads me to believe the following: the entire coaching staff is gone after this season (or next) and know it. Mason pushed really hard for that HC job (can't remember where it was, but remember reading his quotes sort of trashing the run and shoot and how he would love to be the HC there). My conspiratorial take anyway.

Mason interviewed for the University of Nevada-Reno job after Chris Ault retired

The entire coaching staff have been MIA for a couple years now. Your conclusion that that means they know they are all gone is merely wishful thinking...

Right. Hence why I opened my post with "Not that they've ever really killed it on the recruiting trail" . . .

Even terrible by THIS staff's standard. Doesn't make any sense unless they've simply given up.

They were trying with klemm and reinebold at least. Since they left, the staff has been pulseless in terms of recruiting and promoting smu
