It appears that we struck out if signing day was yesterday.

Mickey,
We haven't struck out and yesterday was not signing day -- try Wednesday!

In reviewing when Juco's committed to colleges last year, many went as late as the Feb signing date. The December date is for JC players who will enter school in January (someone correct me if I'm wrong on this one). Don't worry about the signees until February.

So with Dane King and Jason Swanson committed elsewhere, who's at the top of the wish list? The California kid (Romo)? The Wilmott kid? Didn't someone mention a guy named Scott Elliott or something (and what's his story)?

For those JC guys that are mid-year transfers (meaning they can enroll in January), the signing date is Dec. 17.

For those JC guys that will not enroll until August, the signing date is Feb. 4.

If we sign a JUCO QB, we want him to go through spring practice. Hence, he needs to sign now not in FEB.

Thought yesterday was signing day. Are we still pursuing a JUCO QB?
