I didn't know that the outstanding Marlin DB prospects D'Nerian Wright and Matterial Richardson were more than just teammates-they have lived together since the 8th grade. Wrighter-who has received about 50 Division 1A offers and is the more visible recruit has said they are 90% sure that they will commit to the same school and are 80% sure that school will be Arkansas. Wrighter said he has a jan 16 trip planned to Arkansas and is considering OU, Fla, N.D. K-State and that TCU and A&M are outside possibilities. Wrighter hasn't listed SMU in a long time although Richardson has apparently kept SMU as a "Low" possibility. Guess our best chance is if Wrighter picks one of the big boys that doesn't have room for Richardson and that they hate Arkansas.

Hopefully it will be cold and rainy during their visit to Fayetteville. On a cold and rainy day, there is no town that is more depressing.

On the subject of Arkansas recruiting, write down the name of Peyton Hillis from Conway, AR who recently committed to Arkansas. This guy has Heisman potential. It will be interesting to see if he can maintain the academic standards even for the SEC from what I hear. But he is definitely a good one for them.

Isn't he a fullback? No FB will win the Heisman, no matter how good he is. But I'm thinking of the same guy, you're right - he's extremely impressive.

My guess is he will be a running back or tight end. Doubt he will really get the Heisman but I am impressed that every coach that talks of him refers to him as a "manchild".
