Tyler Ribitzki

The DMN this morning reported that offensive lineman Tyler Ribitzki (6-6; 280 lbs; Burleson, Tx) had been told by Kansas that they were going to use their remaining scholarships on defensive players.

Apparently we are back in the mix, along with Colorado State, Arkansas State and La-Monroe.

Since we have relatively few offensive line commits (if any?), is this a guy that we should be seriously pursing? Does Rivals have a rating on this guy?

I also like his frame at 6-6. My guess is he would be 300+ by his 2nd year in the program. He also comes from John Hampton's alma mater for whatever that is worth.

Don't know anything about the quality of the game he brings, but it was significant enough to get press in the DMN

He's pretty highly touted and comes from a very good 5A program. Based on that, and his frame, I'd say he's worth a shot, if he can move a little.
Anyone got a 40 time on him?

Who cares what his time in the 40 is. What's his time in the 2?

Who cares about his height, weight and 40 speed? What are his SAT scores and what is his GPA. And what will his major be? After all, isn't our graduation rate the most important athletic stat to our beloved administration? <Sarcasm off>
