Tulsa has apparently gotten big time recruit Tyvenski Page of Dallas Adamsom 6-2, 190 from K-State. Apparently, KSU made the mistake of threatening to take Page's scholarship away if he visited elsewhere. Another 3 star recruit for the Hurricanes. That makes 8 recruits from the DFW Metroplex-and quite frankly I think SMU would have eventually offered at least 5-6 of Tulsa's recruits if they could including WR Demacho Ously from Oklahoma. That's a guess but they got some very nice players including about 4 big hard hitting safeties some of which could make outstanding LBs in the future. We are really paying for not hiring their Assistant Coach Todd Graham(formerly of Allen HS and West Virgina) who is tearing up the Metroplex in recruiting.

Ousley probablyh would have come had we offered him. We chose not to, so it's a moot point -- managing the scholarships among positions. But that's a hell of a steal if Tulsa really gets that guy away from K-State. He's supposed to be a tremendous player.
