That is all. Let's do this Miami Heat style, or more recently, Duke/Kentucky style - let's pair these two up with Mudiay to really shock the world and establish our own trio of lottery picks!
Pony up!

We need them both on campus for Louisville game- packed house, national TV, new Moody, and Emmanuel Mudiay sitting in between them

This whole thing raises an interesting question for me that maybe someone can provide an answer. How does a coach balance out guys like Turner/Bolden who we may or may not get but who aren't going to decide until late, when there might be other players, not as good, but who would sign now? Do we have a handful of recruits who will come to SMU if we don't sign these two?

I'm sure HoopmanX could provide a better answer, but I'd guess that we have a tier sysytem. Someone like David Wacker (who does have 14 solid offers) may get slow-played since he is a tier or 2 lower than Turner. A lot of tact must be used to keep on the lower-tier guys that you might have to jump on later down the road if your top targets are ff the board.
Illinois really wanted Alexander. They lost out, but I'm sure they have other guys on the radar. Not as talented though.

At this point, there are only so many front tier guys left. If you miss, its on to kids that blow up senior year, transfers, 5th year transfers, foreign kids etc. A few kid from '15 may reclassify too. JUCOs are so thin these days, unless you grab a Moreira, gets tough

The Louisville game isn't until March 5th. I think the UConn game or Memphis game would be best. Both should be sold out.

Are the students back for UConn? I think it makes a big difference as far as the environment and noise level. Need the students there

Well, they need to get back in time! If I was there as a student, I'd be all over this!! This is one of the truly unique college experiences. If you're not doing this, then other than school/work/greek/"extracurriculars" what the heck are you doing?!? Tick tock, people.

man i am with you on that. I don't see how anyone would miss any mens football or basketball game when you are a student at your school - you only have so many. And frankly it is just girly to miss your schools sporting events. So you students need to just talk it up, and when you buddies say something m=lame about missing - call them out for the wussies they are.

Dorms, fraternity/sorority houses will not have reopened yet for the spring semester. Have a hard time seeing many students coming back to school almost two weeks before the semester starts.

A lot of people would love to make it but it's tough to realistically get a plane ticket to come back a week earlier if you're out of state and then fly back home for a lot of kids. I'll probably still end up doing it though in all honesty. Just terrible timing to have the home opener over winter break when have your students aren't from Texas / dfw. Hope turner boldin visit on a game we have a packed house.
