Basketball forward from Dallas South Oak Cliff, graduating with the class of 2006, and is rated 5 stars by Rivals. He is 6"9" 220 lbs and has already been offered by Arizona, Texas, and Kansas. While it is obviously a long shot that he would consider us, we should at least put forth the effort since he is in our own backyard!

I didn't know he is Q's cousin. That cant hurt, but this kid is the real deal. He will be a national top 10 player. Talk about a long shot.

If he is even half the class person that Q is and that quality of basketball player, everyone will be after him. I hope Q's experience at SMU was so postive that he will give us real consideration. we would look so different with a great big man.

There is also a top 50 guard at Seagoville and another top 50 forward at Cedar Hill. We need to get these guys to at least visit the campus!

Ponymon,
There are high D1 guard prospects all over the Metroplex. Seagoville actually has two kids who are top 100 talents, junior Ryan Boyd and sophomore Donald Sloan. Sloan and SOC’s Arthur are probably the top two sophomores in Texas. Skyline’s Calvin Miles, South Garland’s Terrel Harris, Denton Ryan’s Austin Jackson, Irving Nimitz Marquez Haynes and Lewisville’s Booker Woodfox are a few more junior guards who are bubble top 100 players nationally. Irving’s Adron Tennell, Kimball’s George Odufuwa, Arlington Sam Houston’s Donauld Bell, and Desoto’s Jermaine Beal are a few more sophomore guards who are bubble top 100. DFW’s 2005 class will be very strong and 2006 could be the area’s best ever.

If we could get one or two of these guys each year this program would be just fine.

BTW, Seagoville is playing Lincoln tonight in a game that has 5 out of the 10 starters being high D1 prospects.

Irving's Tennell is 6-foot-5, and I think he's already caught some attention as a WR prospect. Wonder if he'll go football or basketball?
