so Larry Brown has a great start on the Class of 2015. Larry Brown has 14 offers out already to the top players in the country and I bet he has actually talked to each of the players several times not just their coaches. 11 out of 14 are either 5 stars or 4 stars from across the country. I believe its supposed to be a bigger class-probably 5-6.

Now June has about 4-5 times more spots to fill in the Class of 2015. He has 13 offers out so far. As many as 50% of the Top players in that class will be committed in about 4 months. June Jones and SMU have easily less offers out than all of our competition in Texas.

Another example. Really, how much effort does it require to get the 108th ranked recruiting class? I'm sure we have the best players no one else wants.

Amazing that June complained about lack of recruiting budget at Hawaii. Maybe budget was not the issue.

It would really be interesting to chart the number of recruits that each coach personally scouted and/or met with personally or their family before their official visit.

Larry is at about 100% from everything I read. Larry is also what 72?

June once stole recruits from NTSU and Texas State in January in house visits

Now that was impressive. They're probably shaking in their boots wondering if JJ will steal more of their recruits.

LB & staff win one against Kentucky in BB. June & staff win one against Houston Baptist in FB.

How can people say its hard to recruit at SMU. Don't you actually have to try in order to know if it is hard or not?

Klemm, Reinebold etc. showed that it's not terribly hard. No, we weren't pulling in 5 star guys, and we probably never will, but they competed and actually had recruits with offers from other schools. This has turned into such a joke that I don't see how 1 person with a brain can want June or any of his staff to come back.

Would the Administration be content with having the 108th-ranked incoming academic class? If not, why will they tolerate the 108th "best" FB recruiting class?
