Posted: Thu Dec 19, 2013 4:10 pmman that seems like forever ago - Connor Preston's class. I ran into all 3 of them at the UH homecoming game (Preston/Levingston/Moreland) and was so pumped when I thought that all 3 would be Mustangs.
One couldn't get into any school. One took 2 years to get into Tech. And the other likely won't play football ever again.
Man I am depressed. Back to basketball talk please!

Yeah, I was really loving that Cali pipeline. Holloway, Gottschalk, Marks also (not all same class but high Cali 3 stars that showed a lot of upside). Gottschalk was solid and Marks of course switched with the whole ASU bs. No comment on Holloway.

Ran into Preston after a game and he said things were looking up for him when I asked. Hopefully we see him next year at least warming up if not playing if needed.

yeah I wish the best for him. I recall him trying to recruit his all-american HS teammates like Marquis Lee to SMU (LOL, no chance but thanks for trying!)
