Just announced his commitment. Great pickup at the linebacker position, hopefully Gresham follows suit

First Team All-District as a Junior and I gather he changed his commit from Houston to us. What else do we know about this kid?

Okay, beating Houston is a step in the right direction.

Hopefully we continue to get better.

Congrats Inoke! Best of luck to you.

“I loved everything about the school. It’s beautiful. I enjoyed my time at the Memphis game too. That was the highlight of the day. I also really liked the academics. They’re challenging, but they’re going to support us with great tutors. And I’m loving the visit. I’m having a great time with J.R. Reed and Michael Epley.

Ngalo originally committed to Houston but decommitted just before making his official visit to SMU. He also made an official visit to North Texas but said the Mustangs really separated themselves late in the recruiting process.

The 5-foot-11, 205-pounder is a bit undersized but will play inside linebacker for the Ponies and is already drawing comparisons to Taylor Reed from the SMU coaching staff. This past season, Ngalo notched 137 tackles and led Euless Trinity to the state quarterfinals

I always thought Jones and company would live at Trinity what with the success of their south pacific players at Hawaii and the success of Yenga. Instead rarely has he recruited well in the communities of those with that heritage. Reputation must have been overblown. Maybe things will change

Longshot, but wouldn't it be cool if Myles Turner was one of his best buds since they both go to Trinity HS.
