A couple post on him but mixed in with news of his brother. Decided to dedicate one thread to just Mickey.

He is 4* #23 player on Rivals and *5 star on Scout. 247 crystal ball has recently changed to SMU

Here is a highlight tape. REALLY impressive.

Not to suck the life out of everything but doesn't June's son go to/did go to PCA?

He goes to Arkansas right now and is ironically dating a former SMU cheerleader

The point being, is Mike a friend of June's son?

If Mike goes to SMU? Not for long. How could little JJ be friends with someone who goes to the worst school ever?

His older brother, a 5-starOhio State LB Mike Mitchell, announced he would be transferring to another school to be closer to his ailing father, former NFLer Ken Mitchell. Could he possibly be thinking of transferring to SMU?

SMU is living right. Hope we get this kid! Watched Mickey Mitchell's "Ball is Life" youtube basketball highlight video, seems very active, very creative, and very unselfish. Plays a little like Jason "White Chocolate" Williams with mad ups, looks like the guy can jump out of the gym! Every highlight video has him driving to the basket and either dunking or dishing with style. Didn't look like any of his highlights were of him shooting the ball. The kid is not afraid of taking the ball to the rack! Also looked like he might be a lefty, does a lot with his left hand? Could be an exciting addition to our Class of 2015. Big things are happening on The Hilltop! Go Mustangs!

He had a couple of pullup jumpers in that highlight video. But you're right: man, what hops

Mercy, love the left hand. Athletic and passes like a wizard.

There's a thread on the basketball board with a lot of good info on Mickey and his situation. OhioBrownFan has some good insight as Mickey is currently an Ohio St commit. I believe it's very likely they both end up at SMU.

2015 class could be massive. Elijah Thomas, Tyler Davis, Diamond Stone, Mickey, DJ Hogg, Jawun Evans, Austin Grandstaff, Matthew McQuaid, Admon Gilder...obviously we're not getting all of those guys, but there's a ton of elite talent that's showing interest in SMU. Good time to be a Mustang
