Odd that he's the #233 player overall in the nation, and only has one offer.

Yup, they love going after kids they don't have to fight for, but of course June always knows something that 125 other teams don'ts right?

Well he's ranked in the Rivals250 so obviously someone else thinks he's decent

He's a 2015 QB, that's supposedly the #9 Pro Passer in the country and he has no offers? There are obviously problems.
Rivals doesn't know everything. I tend to go buy what 125 FBS teams think instead.
Maybe he's a heroin addict like Colt Brennan or something so everyone is staying away from him except June, I don't know.

It's kind of early. He'll get more offers.

Oh really now? Didn't you say the same thing about Colbert and Severt last year? How'd that work out? No offers huh?
Let's look at his closely ranked peers, shall we?
2015
Pro Style QB's per rivals only
#6 15 offers
#7 7 offers
#8 6 offers
#9 SMU offer Only
#10 9 offers
#11 4 offers
#12 Committed to USC already
What the hell do you mean its early? You're incapable of saying anything not full of sunshine and rainbows about June and his lazy staff aren't you?

I think I read where we are looking at or offered another NFL QB son-I think he is a 4 star. Mark Rypien's son. Can't remember where I saw that

You guys are ripping the staff for extending an offer to a 4*? Un. Frickin. Believable! Criticize all day for lack of effort, but not for this!

You can look at it two ways, we offered a 4* star kid or we offered a kid with no offers.
As has been reiterated many times on here, judging offers as opposed to stars is a much better way to gauge a players ability and their prospects. If you take a 2* with 20 P5 offers and a 5* with 1 P5 offer, I'm inclined to pick the 2*

BOP is posting blackout again. It's odd that he doesn't have offers but he's a 4-star on Rivals and 88 on 247- I'd take him. We've "signed" one 4-star Rivals guy in the JJ era I believe- Moreland- and he never made it on campus.

Texas and SEC Country have the earliest recruiting although looks like UCLA is pushing it out West now. PAC 12 area is notoriously for later recruiting. Almost every Big 12 South school has had 2-3 Junior Days. All in all the position with the earliest offers is QB but I would agree its a little early in some parts of the Country. As I mentioned though in another thread 35% of Texas Top 100 have committed

another factor could be 4 out of top 8 recruits in California are QBs. He's rated No. 6. Maybe West Coast teams like others better and other schools haven't extended recruiting sphere to California yet. He could have 6-8 offers within a month-who knows. While schools are recruiting earlier I wouldn't draw too many conclusion in February
