Any idea what's up with them? Committed to us but didn't sign on NSD. Malone was recently tweeting about how he can't wait to get to the SMU campus soon, alluding to this fall. What's their deal?

I think all 3 are gray shirting and supposed to come in January.
The last 2 are recovering from injuries. I am guessing Malone just needs
to get bigger/stronger and can use another year to do that. Probably the "Army Prep" recruits pushed at Malone into a greyshirt.

Malone was a grades issue I believe. And we might not even sign Goulbourne because the coaches backed off of him due to the injury.

Goulbourne claimed to Florida media that he "signed" on signing date. If he's not full of [deleted] it must be a Grant-In-Aid (rather than Letter of Intent) for admission in January 2015. Personally, I've never read a thing about Malone having an academic issue- from what I've read he's just a greyshirt too. They very well could have academic issues-we've waited on plenty of kids who didn't have grades/SAT on signing date but in this case we signed 24 or 25-with a transfer in mind so with the new hard 25 signing limit we couldn't have signed more w/o there being greyshirts. SMU can't officially announce greyshirts on signing date because they are still fully recruitable athletes if they get an offer from someone else. Note SMU press release lists 24 bios-but mentions 3 unnamed greyshirts

I read somewhere that Jeanlys, when healthy, is a big-time player. I think someone said he's an "LSU type" of DB. Hope we end up getting him.
Sure hope we get at least one or two of them!
