Saw a tweet where Dallas Lincoln DB Cristian Williams will commit to SMU on Saturday. Why not commit now? Who knows. He's listed at 6-0, 165.

I would be surprised if we are his last offer. I think we'll get him because he wants to stay close to home and told Baylor he already decided on SMU because Baylor was too far away...wonder if TCU is also too far...

If he's actually 6'0" and runs a 4.4 forty, that's good size/speed for a CB. I'd think Mason could work with that

I always get a kick out of the "other offers are right around the corner-Big State U talked to him"-without mentioning Baylor has already offered 16 DBs plus about 6 "athletes"-TCU 19 DBs and 4 athletes-so he's does not appear to be high on either the TCU or Baylor take list.

He looks fast, but he's at an outside LB spot for most of the defensive downs.

Agreed. Speed looks good. I know it's a highlight film, but he seems to make plays in a number of different ways. Hope he commits.

I would tend to agree with you Stallion. I remember when someone said the QB out of Westlake would probably get more offers but none came. I believe we signed 9 players last year with no other offers. Let's hope we do better this year.
