"Dinos Trigonis said he expects schools like UConn, Kansas, Duke, UCLA, Washington, Cal, Arizona State, Louisville, Texas, SMU, UNLV, Marquette, St. John's, Florida State, Oregon, Oregon State and Tulsa to get involved now that Dorsey is back on the market."

Rumored to be leaning towards UCLA. Still, it's nice to see that we're being included in so many national conversations.

I like that Tulsa's in there. We really need them to succeed.

I would say the same, but Tulsa fans are the worst. They like to think they're better athletically and academically. They also think their ugly, extremely bland campus is as nice.

In athletics, Tulsa has clearly demonstrated to be better than SMU. The clear exception now is basketball.

In terms of academics, they have the best student freshman profile than any other university in OK, and as such arguably the best school in OK (us news also reflects this in its rankings), and arguably better than most in Texas. For instance it's much better than tcu and better than Baylor as well. But SMU is better and Rice is much better academically than Tulsa.

Best in oklahoma is not really worth saying. The tallest midget is still short.

so, other than football, what are they "clearly" better at? Soccer, golf, track, swimming?

I couldn't care less about Tulsa. But if their fans think they are Bette than smu athletically (I was referring to the two big revenue sports) then they're right, at least over the last 10 years, over basketball probably longer.

However. In terms of academics SMU is better. They can't brag over us in that but they are a pretty good school. I didn't say great or outstanding.

Did Tulsa get a death penalty which crippled their prized football program? Didn't think so. Over 100 years we have been superior to them. Now we will dominate them again in both sports.

No mention of SMU....

“@jeffborzello: Oregon, Oregon St, Stanford, Cal, ASU, Gtown, KU, L'Ville, Mizzou, Florida, etc. have reached out to Tyler Dorsey: http://cbsprt.co/1vUsNoK”
