According to multiple published reports, 6-6 Ewing, N.J. shooting guard/small forward Trey Lowe (4 stars on ESPN, 3 stars on 247sports, scout and rivals) has narrowed his choices (class of 2015) to four schools: SMU, Temple, VCU and St. Joe's (I think that's the fourth). Also reports offers from Drexel, Fordham, Rutgers, Seton Hall.

Some notes and numbers about Lowe can be found HERE.

Pretty cool to be on a short list of quality schools from a guy all the way from Jersey.

ESPN Scouting Report:

ESPN Analyst
Updated 06/03/2014

Strengths:
Lowe is late blooming guard with a ton of upside. He has size and length alike in the backcourt and shows athletic flashes making a quick play off the dribble or finishing with body control up around the rim. He's not apprehensive to play in contact around the rim and will even stick his nose into traffic to dig out an offensive rebound. He shoots the ball with deep range and is capable of getting hot from behind the three-point line. His size and length allows him to get a lot of steals and deflections on the defensive end as well.

Weaknesses:
He's far from a finished product, especially physically, where he is still just growing into his body and filling out his frame. Besides getting stronger, he also needs to become more consistent. His shooting mechanics needs to be both more polished and consistent in order to improve his three-point percentage, while he also needs to prove that he can be a playmaker in a half-court set.

Bottom Line:
Lowe's status is based far more on his upside than his current level of production but with his size, length, and foundation to continue to increase his skill level, he has a lot of markers for long-term success.

Yep, I'll take it all day long. Like his length. his GPA isn't bad either.
