“@EvanDaniels: Bryant Crawford, a four-star guard, will take an official visit to SMU on August 28th, per a source.”

Per Rivals he's #77 in the class. He recently cut his list to 7 (all have offered) - SMU, Memphis, Georgetown, Indiana, Marquette, Tennessee and Wake.

Wake is so ten years ago. They pretty much suck. Nerds in a small school in a nothing town.

ICYMI: Team Takeover 2015 G Bryant Crawford (@HeyyAcee) is visiting #SMU today. Big combo guard target for the Mustangs.
Expand

Billy - They're recruiting him to play next to Sed Barefield though as a combo.

Hoopmanx - or they recruited Sed as a combo, or they like the idea of two PGs. Crawford is an elite PG. Better offers than Sed

Billy - With the loss of Mudiay and having seen how the team is with 1 PG, you're probably right. I like Crawford's game more than Sed.

I saw Hoopmanx's tweet earlier. My guess was the visit went well.

Bryant Crawford, a 6-foot-3 point guard from Washington, D.C. Gonzaga, visited SMU this past weekend and enjoyed it.

He will trip to Wake Forest and Georgetown over the next two weekends.

“It was fun, a nice experience,” Crawford told SNY.tv of SMU.

Like many recruits, Crawford said he enjoyed spending time with Naismith Hall of Fame coach Larry Brown.

“[He said I would] just come in as a point guard [and] I would have to earn my spot,” Crawford said. ” “And I enjoy being with him. We had a nice conversation, whether he was telling stories about his former players or different games. Just sitting down and talking with him and eating dinner, he’s a nice guy, fun to be with.”

Said Gonzaga coach Steve Turner: “I think he got an opportunity to learn a lot more, put his hands on versuss just hearing about it. Having a chance to sti down with coach and get a little better picture of the vision they have for him.”

Wake coach Danny Manning is another coach Crawford likes and he will trip there this coming weekend.

“I feel like I would fit in well with their program also and Danny Manning, I like his coaching style,” he said.

Crawford will then trip to Georgetown the weekend of Sept. 12.

He said Tennessee, Marquette, Indiana and Memphis are also recruiting him, and Crawford has an in-home visit next week with Tennessee, Turner said.

But no other visits are scheduled.

“I haven’t cut my list,” he said.

Asked when he might make a decision, Crawford said, “I want to decide before the high school basketball season.”
