Thought I'd throw this out there....already have former Chap QB Jordan Severt on team..
Ehlinger listed at 6'2, 205

Highlights of win over Temple:

Sophomore star power: Quarterback Sam Ehlinger stepped on to his home stage Friday night and showed Westlake fans what to expect for the next three years. Ehlinger could break many career passing records at Westlake. What’s impressive is that 13 of Westlake’s past 15 quarterbacks have all gone on to play college football, but none of them started as a sophomore. Not even Drew Brees and Nick Foles.

He looks like a pretty big kid for a sophomore

I'm about to move out there. I might go check him out. Looking forward to comparing some of the best TX HS football (in Austin) to some of the best Cali football (where I live now - saw some good programs . . Oaks Christian, Mater Dei, etc)

Westlake is the school to check out.......and the best part of the city to live in. Currently have two NFL QB's who played high school football there - Drew Brees and Nick Foles.

Add hills and subtract HP's long history.

We really liked the Westlake and Bee Caves area when we visited Austin. ALMOST moved there, but chose Circle C instead. Just renting until we get the lay of the land. Will most likely move up there in a year. Beautiful up there for sure. My gym is there (The Hills) so I'll be up in that area a lot, plus they have a Trader Joe's! :-)

Haha disagree! Southlake still > all other highschool football programs.

Ojai to Austin- not a bad tradeoff minus the weather and traffic.
