It's pathetic that out of the best 150 players in Texas, we nabbed just one of them. Solid 0.6666% accuracy :/

Well right there is the problem. How are we supposed to get any of the top 150 if they keep going to other schools?

Should be #1 priority of next guy. Increase this number over next 2-3 years (10 minimum should be the goal). Then cherry pick Louisiana and maybe Okie. That alone would put us in the drivers seat in the AAC. (step #1 to get into a P5).

Come on lemmings. Wake up. 19 years of RGT administration and ZERO, nada, zilch. Not a single championship in fb or bball (womens don't count - basketball is mens (rightly assumed)) in alphabet soup conferences for the little sisters of the poor!

Let's just keep hiring and firing coaches and blaming it on them. Really? Can we not connect the dots?

AD and Presidents don't recruit. They hire coaches like June Jones and Larry Brown to recruit. In turn the Head Coaches hire guys like Sancho-Borrito Gomez and Wesley Sauna(Football) or Ulric Maligi and K.T. Turner (Basketball) to do the heavy recruiting. Some are more successful than others

I think it is more important for SMU at this point to get those recruits in the 150-300 range that are good students, have a tremendous work ethic and are team oriented....don't have to be the biggest or fastest but will make up the lack with heart and smarts. Gotta have the coaches though who will go out and find em instead of waiting for a highlight video to be sent in. Fan support is huge too
