Is UNT his only other offer? I know we are behind UNT right now, but man we gotta move up the food chain and start competing for higher end talent.

Has 2 FBS offers, but he had in-home visits with Tech and NM State last week

That will probably be next year. For now being this late in the recruiting year he has to go for the best available player.

Only so much you can do with a staff coming in in December. We'll be fine, especially if land someone like Chason.

Man, between SMU and Kansas, they're being robbed. I'm just trying to figure out whether they had a great class or whether both schools are just that limited at this point.

74% of the Texas Top 100 are already committed and I bet about half of the uncommitted know where they want to go but are waiting for a TV announcement.. You either try to switch commitments or go after the top sleepers or late developers. We saw 2-3 incredible late developers in recent weeks on TV in Allen WR Lee Morris, Cedar Hill's RB Denvre Daniels and Dallas Skyline's WR Savon Rollison. I think Morris and Daniels will blow up and become 2 of the hottest targets in Texas because of playoff run

They definitely didn't have a great class.

Had to look up what GMG meant. In my book it's Go Morris Go!

Honestly, why doesn't SMU just buy UNT and bulldoze it?

Haha I am not really sure why anyone is trashing UNT from a recruiting perspective. They just beat us 43-6 which means they have been getting better recruits. If we can steal some of their top ones, all the better. This is a serious process and it starts by being able to beat out community colleges around us, that's the reality of where JJ left us.

Why would anyone choose to live in Denton?
