He's taking an official here on 1/24. I think he's got Okie Lite and Washington scheduled prior to coming here but it looks like we will get his last official.
This kid would be a tremendous addition to pair alongside Proche and Wilson.

We got some Okie Lites' on the staff now, so you'd hope those guys could sell AGAINST going there really well. Keeping my fingers crossed - would really like to get this kid also.

I'd love to see us actually rotate WR's and keep some fresh bodies on the field. I always felt awful for guys like Der'rikk Thompson and Al Robinson who had to run 25 go routes every game and try to get back to the LoS for the next play.

Looks like Hicks has been hoping Castille ends up a Mustang too.

I know this thread is about Castille, but a point about Hicks:
Looking over his HS highlights, he looks just like Burcham did to me - except he's shorter and doesn't seem to be the runner that Burcham was in HS . . . looks to have a stronger arm, though, and I'm guessing his competition was a step up from Burcham's.
Glad we got him - hope he can lure in a few more high 3 stars like Castille . . .

Many say it is all about other offers, and if so I think Hicks has better offers then Burcham had.

Right. I think Arky was going to offer Burcham until he blew out his knee. And then of course he probably would have went there.
Ultimately, Hicks is probably the better prospect. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out this Spring and Summer. Can we put Garrett's arm and IQ on Davis's legs??

I have a feeling we might be crazy about Davis by this time next year.

I agree... add a touch of accuracy and knowledge and watch out

Agree. Qb's aren't static. Look at Boykin at TCU. His accuracy and decision making was suspect early on now he is in top ten qb's in country.

Amazing what a little coaching and a new scheme will do.

There were a few of us saying the same thing about GG a couple three years back when the rest of the pony faithful were wanting to run him out of town. I think Davis will be solid.

Davis doesn't have the same leadership qualities as Gilbert thus far
