What happened?

No info...just tweeted he is out. Do we have any guys on radar that would make him question his role, position, chances to start as a freshman?

Get used to this guys. When you recruit players that other teams actually want, this will happen from time to time.

You don't get your dream job when you are unemployed. With 2 months to recruit (including the dead period), the class is starting to fill in nicely. First big weekend and already 4 commits. Rome wasn't built in a day, so let HCCM and staff do their thing over the next 3 weeks, get what we can, build on it this spring and fall, and see how his first full class looks next Feb.

Yea anything this staff puts together this year is gravy. Next year is when the results count

agreed and we will need to show immediate improvement on the field to help convince some higher profile guys that it can be done at SMU

Hopefully we can snag Thomas and/or Castille. Both are better prospects than Wilson.

Not even sure what that means...although the tweet by Proche "Getting my degree from #SMU is my top priority." could be a hint. Get Proche on the phone with Castille and Thomas...kid stands a good chance of selling ice to eskimos.

i think he is saying that is obviously a B.S. excuse. We will get poached from time to time, just like we did to UNT. Our coaches will have to make the case it is better to challenge for an AAC championship then it is to be at the bottom of the big 12

When I was being recruited I told my coach I would not go to any school in Arkansas because I wanted to be on my own and away from home. It is not necessarily bs. Then my father was transferred to Dallas the day after I signed.
