I know I am going to sound salty saying this but I actually liked Honey's tape more than Wilson's. Good pickup.

impressive-6-4 kid that appears to have coordination and body control of a smaller receiver. Quick feet, He runs away from several defenders and can adjust to the ball and stretch out for the tough catch. His Senior video is one big play after another. When he stretches his long arms on his big frame he can go get balls at the apex very few can reach. Nice production as a Senior 41 catches 980 yards (24 yards per catch) 14 TD. Pride in his blocking skills as he includes about of dozen blocking plays in his video-in this offense that alone could get him on the field early. He's going to be a big strong receiver type if he'll work hard which seems to be where the NFL game at least is going

His highlights on hudl.com look pretty impressive. He's tall, has good speed and makes some pretty acrobatic catches. Why doesn't he have more offers? What am I missing?

Overall speed not that good but decent. He will a boundary possession receiver for us according to him. And he has 4 or 5 D1A offers.

He will be one HONEY of a receiver. LOL I like having some size at receiver. He might go far in this offense. Welcome home Mr. Honey!

Good commitment story on Honey. I liked some of his Coach's comments-it articulates what I see in his video-I made the same observation about his coordination and "playing like a smaller guy"
Walsh added that he wouldn’t be surprised if Honey steps on the field early during his freshman season and makes an immediate impact for what will be a young program with an up-tempo offense under Morris.
“I really think he could play right away and contribute,†Walsh said. “It’s just because of his work ethic and his confidence. He’s still a young guy, too. His upside is huge. As many wide receivers as they’re going to play and the tempo they play with, I think he’ll find the field pretty quick. A lot of tall guys are stiff and play too tall, and he’s past that point. He comes out of breaks and almost plays like a smaller guy in that regard and college coaches noticed that.â€

Great to see some height being added to the WR group and he is from the DFW area.

Guyer is one of those schools college coaches need to have their foot in the door. Who knows, maybe Robinson is next.

Not super crisp on his routes, rounds off some of his cuts a bit. What I like is that it seems like he has soft hands, he makes a point of going out to grab the ball with his hands instead of catching it with the body, which shows a lot of confidence with his hands. Haven't seen a lot of that on tape since Sanders. For someone who has such a long stride, he shows good quickness when he comes out of a break or after a catch is made, which is not common.
What I really like in this tape is his football awareness. When the QB is scrambling or if he is tasked with finding a spot in the zone, he slides to that area and makes a play. That element has been missing from our WR corp for quite a while.
