LeGerald Vick, the 2016 commit, is one of three finalists for Tennessee's AA Mr. Basketball for the second consecutive year. The Memphis-bound Lawson brothers, who suit up for the Tigers next year, are both AAA finalists.
In Tennessee AAA is the top classification.

What is his connection to SMU? How were we able to get a verbal from him?

Committed last fall as a 2015 recruit then decided on prep school rather than coming in this year thereby becoming a 2016 recruit. Hope they can hold on to him for such a long time.

Vick will be Top 50 by the time he signs. He is a gem.
