here's quick and easy 2016 SMU Offer List from 247.com. Rivals and Scout could learn a lot from 247.com on ease of use. This gives you pretty much all the basic information you need. Rivals and Scout have all these pretty pictures and useless disjointed information that is much harder to quickly digest. Note 62 of 65 offers listed are to 3+ stars-(although 247.com may be slightly more generous than Rivals and Scout). The other 3 already have quality offers. SMU Coaches are working their asses off focusing on the top players in the State-quite a difference http://smu.247sports.com/Season/2016-Football/Offers

Looks like SMU picked the harder working Head Coach/Staff:
SMU-Morris: 74 offers UH-Herman: 40 offers Tulsa-Montgomery 34 offers
June would be at about 15-20 in late February even less in first few years

This is night and day from the one that shall not be named. YEAH.
Dude: where is the beef. We need three DT's at least, and 5-6 big uglies for the Oline. That with a couple quick-ish D ends.
Build from the line and it is amazing how good the smalls can play.

Thanks for posting the 247 list. I was actually trying to find the Rivals list - I know it is there, but could not get to it. I think one thing this list tells us is that when guys start committing to us a lot may happen very quickly. Spots will get in short supply which will add to the urgency of making a decision. While we don't want players to be so quick to commit that they are not solid, we sure want to have some urgency to know there opportunity to be at SMU won't be there too long.

If they have multiple offers and SMU wants them they may have to save a spot for the recruit. The players we are going after now have multiple offers so if SMU closes a spot then they just take SMU off their list of multiple offers, no big deal. The short supply thing works better with players that have no offers or no D1A offers better. We may have to wait longer on the type of players that we are going after now.

Hopefully offering Kam Martin twice will double our chances of landing him.

Looks like about 4.8-4.9 40 on film. Better keep adding weight for H-back/TE

Numbers don't lie - just insane what we had to deal with in the SMU IRA regime.
