looks like Myles Duke has been moved from QB to WR and he made a bunch of great plays-looks outstanding for a new position-he lead his team Goose Creek Memorial to a 14-12 victory over Tomball Memorial. Exact stats unknown but they were huge

Looks fast, good hands and pretty thick. Going to be a nice add for SMU.

Yep I'm definitely going to have to give him Stallion's Class of 2016 Offensive Recruit of the Week but I'm impressed by a bunch of these guys. Onu is Stallion's Class of 2016 Defensive Recruit of the Week. Couldn't find anything on Cedar Hill's Eric Sutton or Michael Clark from their big victory

I'd imagine that if Duke plays like that all year, the Offensive and Defensive Coaches might be fighting over Duke and conceivably if we don't get Audie it could affect who we taking with final scholarships

Myles Duke was held to 3 catches for 30 yards in a loss to Baytown Sterling but playing a new position he has 13 catches for 161 yards in 2 games

Here's one of Myles Duke's 3 catches making a nice sideline catch and getting feet down in bounds-also chased down a CBs interception who had a 15 yard head start-shows his speed. Finally, made a great block that sprung a TD run

2016 class needs some RBs. Any good ones out there that are uncommitted?

I am not real discouraged with our current stable of RBs. I would say DB and OL are much higher priorities.

I disagree. I think it is the weakest position on the field right now, especially with how they are used in a CM offense. Hopefully they can snag a transfer who can step right in next year.

Kidding right? Got a fullback, and two speedy backs who looked good with a lot of upside. Plus durrall is on the roster, but i guess he's been recruited over. Not to mention nlemchi will be back next season. I mean sure, we can take another back with the intention to redshirt

Got a couple of good backs in recruiting now build the team around them. What is this, cowboys draft day? You build the team around the line, not the skill players. Team speed was the biggest thing lacking and was addressed in the 2015 class. The 2016 class is heavily based on defense as a whole and offensive linemen.

You build a team from the line out. This is why the Cowboys are good now and we're abysmal to mediocre at best for years. A running back would be a waste of a scholarship because they would likely not touch the field for 1-2 years (and only in a rotation in the second year)

Jones and west did well against baylor in their first college game. Don't be surprised if they are pony express 2.0, especially not having to play a terribly difficult schedule.

Jones and West both went down on their own a couple of times where they " out ran their feet". They will settle down more and run within themselves more as they adjust to the game. I was very impressed with both of them as I was Line, P. with his power running. I was very pleased with our backs.

just re-watched the first half and am excited about West and Jones' potential. Xavier especially has a world class cut to the open field and looks like our best weapon out of the backfield in years. BUT I agree we need to recruit a bigger back-we might not find the perfect bigger back but we will take a RB in this class.

With the preseason loss of Gresham, Line is our only bigger back, although there are also the players in the TE hybrid position. Is Nlemchi expected to return next year after a medical red shirt this year or is he done? If I recall correctly he is now in grad school at SMU.

P line is fine but not the answer. There is potential beyond him - especially West, but we don't have a big fast back and we need one desperately. We haven't had a really good back since Zach - and even he was not fast enough. Yes it is an area of weakness. I would be CH agrees with me and we see some additions based on this.
