Collin Rock Game Performances

Rock doesn't seem to put much on the internet but here's a nice throw to the corner of the endzone and some nifty open field running of about 80 yards with demonstrates his athleticism. After their opening game loss to Corey Rau's team it looks like they are on a 4 game winning streak. State 6A runnerup last year

here's the first real good look at Collin Rock which include his Senior Highlites. Your typical winner who takes his team to the State 6A Championship. POLISHED. Technically perfect in these highlites at QB with foot technique, great throwing motion, perfect spirals and carrying out fakes-quick, mobile and fast enough to take it to the house from all over the field. He's the kind who if he ever got a shot a QB you might not take the job from him. I think he's about 21-2 in his career losing to Allen who has won over 50 games in a row and undefeated Cinco Ranch (Corey Rau). There have been plenty of smaller QBs than Rock that have been great FBS QBs SMU will find him a place to play where its at QB, SS or even Inside Receiver. Don't count a guy like this out. Named as one of 33 Finalists for Preseason Greater Houston Touchdown Club Player of the Year Award. There was one P5 school giving him a look at QB but I can't remember which one

2 long pass completions including about a 30 yard TD

BUT WATCH THE 3RD Highlite at about the 1:03. The RB breaks a long run and Rock is deep in the backfield but decides to sprint down the field 77 yards in the rain like he's running the 100 Meters and the ball is fumbled at about the 7 and he is right there to pick it up in stride and take it into the end zone. This is one of the greatest hustle plays-especially by a QB-that I have ever seen. Winner. No wonder the Coaching Staff loves him.

Collin Rock in First Game of Playoffs-a 44-13 victory over Memorial.

I LOVE Collin Rock

Watch him lay out a defender on a double reverse back to the QBs side-a TKO Knockout Punch by the QB--this is a QB we are talking about-he has more big hits and hustle plays than just about everyone on the SMU defense He'll hit if he plays Safety for us. Also threw a perfectly thrown 30 yard TD to the flag

Big Shootout next week between Cypress Ranch and Katy-two teams that went to 6A State Championship-Katy in Big School and Ranch in Little School Divisions

he could be an Inside Receiver or even given a shot QB-but we need more help at Safety.

BTW he's got his work cut out for him since Katy has outscored opponents 547-18 this year and only been scored on in 3 games. In fact, Katy's Defense has scored 28 points-11 more than it has surrendered. That's net -1 points per game

Collin Rock was 9 for 15 for 233 yards and 2 TDs and added 34 yards rushing on 18 carries but lost 58-20 to a great Katy team. Rock engineered more points than Katy's last 11 opponents (18)
