6 foot is very short for this era of lineman. Please none under 6.2, and no tackles under 6'5'

BUS is looking for big DL. 6' is ok if they have some girth on them.

Thank Mrydels... For a 6-5 lineman to get under a wide body 6 footer at 300... good luck.
Granted the NG/DT has to be ornery.

DL is a critical position I've always said and I hope we can get at least one more in this class. And an LB although we just got Spears.

Willingness to compete and Motor are the other things I want. Hollie, Minor, and Green have plenty of size and strength and flash the quickness to be successful. But they don't seem to compete at the same level every down.

You don't see very many 6 ft d lineman in top 20 programs, and that is our goal.

We've offered one though that I'd be happy as hell to get. He is type that would make Bus drool but I like him because he can move too. Bunch of sacks this year against top competition

Make me drool.

Carter backed up by Ball. Well that was a good 1,2 and many others behind them that could plug in.

I think both were fullbacks in high school. Both liked to eat and lift weights. LOL

One this class but two is more better, and three is even better.

To me, that is the foundation of a defensive scheme.

It is amazing the impact it has on the entire defense when you have a guy who can beat his man on every play and requires a double.

Patrick Jones is 6'2 270- should be up in the 290-300 range with a college conditioning program

We're also in on Ken McLaurin from Denton -6'4 275

I think Demerick Gary will shift inside to DT in college, he's listed at 6'3 245 now

Let's just hope Chad Morris and this staff stays together for at least another 3-4 years because it will take that long before we see whether he can rebuild this team in the trenches. That thread on the football forum about being tired of hearing how the other teams are bigger, stronger and faster than our guys is apparent in the trenches and we all know that can be attributed not only to JJ's recruiting but also to the S&C program. Give Chad a couple of years to bring guys in and another couple of years for them to develop and let's see how competitive this team might be.
