2 great Tackles for loss (shown in triplicate) last weekend against Keller. Impressive because they show his quickness and strength. Not just a fat big guy

Good commitment story for Ken McLaurin

Through 6 games:

"He has been a more explosive playmaker for a Ryan defense that has become one of the top Class 6A units in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Heading into Saturday’s game at Keller, McLaurin has 34 tackles, 15 for a loss, eight assists, five sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery."

Tonite Denton Ryan is blowing Northwest out like 40-0 and the opponent has like 16 yards rushing in 4th Q and given up a saftey

Check out the quickness and mobility of McLaurin on this sack and tackle for loss (in triplicate). I will be so relieved if we can hold onto this guy until signing date. Expect some schools to come after him

Denton Ryan remained undefeated 11-0 with a 56-33 victory over Plano East. They play South Grand Prairie next week who shocked Euless Trinity last nite

I was very impressed on McLaurin on the outside shoulder of the O guard, stunts inside the guard and is so quick that he might as well be untouched. Looks VERY QUICK!!! He might be a stud!

Kid looks like an absolute beast, hope he stays committed...could be an immediate contributor at his size.

I wasn't real clear on what I was describing in my comments above. I was referring to another play other than the one Stallion was describing. I appreciate Stallion's posts on our new recruits. This kid is quick. My only question is how good is the competition he is up against. Maybe Stallion can answer that question. But, as Stallion and Joe Kid have both suggested, this guy looks awesome. I look forward to seeing him play for SMU.

Denton Ryan is one of the Top 6A programs in Texas-if not the United States-and plays against top flight competition

Yes, that's what is impressive this District is one of the best in the State so he is playing at the highest HS level he can and dominating guys....again although how many of those will be playing at the next level I don't know.
