RB Aphonso Thomas has switched his commitment from Nebraska to SMU. He is a December high school graduate.

Don't think we have ever flipped a Nebraska commit since the DP days. Coach Mathis has recruited some good RB's. Kudos to the staff.

I'm pretty sure tiki [deleted] was never able to convince a p5 recruit to switch. He generally just lost them.

He publicly stated that they stopped recruiting anyone who got a P5 offer.

Besides watching the team improve, one of the other best things about next year is that it will be officially too late to bring up JJ after each and every single event. Lets talk about the future folks, rehashing the JJ thing is beyond old news now.

Nebraska got a commitment by another running back last week which opened up the door here. Nice job of the staff staying on a committed kid and waiting for the right opportunity

Why wouldn't we also consider adding Mahone if it works out? Its a position of need - particularly to get a banger.

With 2 good freshmen RB's this year we just needed one good back in the class. And they got a good back.

not convinced our freshman are all that good yet. Both are undersized.
